Latest news

During January 2012 a government Planning Inspector held three days of hearings into the submission version of the Yorkshire Dales Housing Development Plan. A number of changes to the Plan have now emerged from that and have been published. The public is invited to comment on these changes before the Inspector finalises his report to the Authority. Local Development Framework

Local Plans are being phased out and will eventually be replaced with a new system known as the ‘Local Development Framework’.
