Yorkshire Dales Development Framework
The YDDF consists of a number of documents:
Core Strategy
This will be strategy for development in the National Park. The intention is to begin this after adoption of the Housing Development Plan. In the interim the saved policies in the Yorkshire Dales Local Plan 2006 provide the basis for local planning policy.
Housing Development Plan Document (HDP)
The first area of policy to be reviewed is housing. For further information, see the Housing Development Plan page.
Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)
The SCI sets out the Authority's arrangements for involving the public in planning policy and consultation on planning applications.
Local Development Scheme (LDS)
The LDS is the programme for the production of the Yorkshire Dales Development Framework.
Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)
The Annual Monitoring Report identifies the impact of local plan policy, noting any trends and areas for future action. It is produced each December and covers the preceding financial year:
Yorkshire Dales Local Plan - Annual Monitoring Report 2010-11
Yorkshire Dales Local Plan - Annual Monitoring Report 2009-10
Yorkshire Dales Local Plan - Annual Monitoring Report 2008-9
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Development Framework or any aspect of planning policy should email the Head of Sustainable Development or call him on 01969 652334.
